A musician from MCU won in the international competition

On November 27—28, the 2nd International Competition of Performers of Instrumental and Choral Music, Academic, Folk, Pop and Jazz Singing “Nasledije” (Heritage) was held in Prague, in partnership with the Russian Center of Science and Culture at the Embassy of Russian Federation in the Czech Republic.

Elena Kondrat, a student at the Master’s degree program “Teaching Musical Arts: Vocal, Chorus, Instrument Performance” in the MCU’s Institute of Culture and Arts, performed “Etude #1” op.2 cis moll and “Etude #5” op.42 cis moll by Alexander Skryabin and was awarded the laureate of the 1st degree.

Elena is mastered by Svetlana Nizamutdinova, Associate Professor at the Department of Music.

The Organizing Committee sent to MCU the letter of appreciation in which it expressed the hope for further friendship and cooperation for the development of culture and peace between the peoples.
