MCU Faculty exchange pedagogical insights with Kazakh colleagues

Faculty members from the Institute of Psychology and Comprehensive Rehabilitation took part in the international training and methodological seminar “Actual Problems of Inclusive Education,” organised by the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician A. Kuatbekov (Shymkent, Kazakhstan).

MCU experts delivered lectures on key aspects of inclusive education:

  • Professor I. Yakovleva (Head of the Department of Social-Psychological Technologies and Сorrective-Developmental methods) – General Issues of Inclusive Education

  • Professor Irina Levchenko (Head of the Laboratory of Inclusive Education) – Normative-Legal Framework of Inclusive Education

  • Professor T. Bogdanova (Professor, Doctor of Pedagogy) – Special Educational Needs

  • Associate Professor O. Titova (Associate Professor, Candidate of Sciences in Pedagogy) – Designing the Federal Adapted Basic Education Program

  • Associate Professor A. Huseynova (Associate Professor, Candidate of Sciences in Pedagogy) – Special Conditions for Inclusive Education

  • Professor V. Manuylova (Professor, Doctor of Pedagogy) – Challenges and Development of Inclusive Vocational Education in Russia

The seminar provided a platform for sharing best pedagogical practices and research in inclusive education. Kazakh colleagues highlighted the practical value of MCU’s research in training specialists for an evolving educational landscape.

Madina Mahmudkhanovna Baybekova, Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, expressed interest in further collaboration with Moscow City University.
