Elective Physical Education courses
MCU changes the approach to Physical Education. Students are offered a variety of opportunities to get the credit for Physical Education:
- Take one of the elective courses (see below);
- Join one of the MCU Sports Schools;
- Complete the Ready for Labor and Defence complex requirements of, at least, the bronze button for the student’s age;
- Independently train and complete the Health Map tests, which is a system for a student to self-check the physical condition;
- To be qualified as a professional athlete, who are:

- members of the national or regional teams;
- medalists and those taking 4-6th place at the Russian Championships;
- medalists and those taking 4-10th place at the European Championships;
- medalists and those taking 4-12th at the World Championships.
