Department of Geography and Tourism
The Department integrates geography with tourism, geoinformatics, in accordance with Geography Education in Russia Conception and considering digital economy.
Geographical subjects, geoinformational mapping, tourism regionalism, teaching Geography, educational tourism as well as related disciplines are taught at the Department.
The Department trains bachelors of Pedagogy in Teaching Geography combined with a) foreign languages, b) history, c) IT, or d) educational tourism.
Postgraduates are instructed in Economic, Social, Political, and Recreational Geography; Geoecology; and Teaching Geography.
