The main aims of the Center’s activity:

• Development and implementation of educational and methodological materials on topical issues of history for scientific and academic staff and students on programmes of various levels.
• Development and implementation of educational projects aimed at popularisation of humanitarian knowledge in the field of Russian history and world history.
• Formation of an objective and interested public and mass media perception of topical issues of Russian history and world history.

• Development of a programme for popularisation of humanitarian knowledge in the field of Russian history and world history.
• Development of advanced training and professional retraining programmes on topical issues of Russian history and world history.
• Planning, coordination and control over the organisation of events aimed at popularisation of humanitarian knowledge.
