RAEX (RAEX-Analytics) rating agency has released a ranking of the influence of Russian universities. MCU was included in the ranking and took 39th place.
The ranking defines a list of universities with the greatest influence on society, namely on the formation of elites, on the scientific community, on young people, and on the Internet audience. The final list included 75 universities in the country.
The rating is based on 14 criteria, the source data for which were formed on the surveys of universities and information from independent sources. These data include monitoring of graduates’ employment by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Wikipedia, Alexa Internet, Inc., SNS, etc. It also includes RAEX data on the number of graduates in senior positions in major Russian companies and data from foreign and Russian scientometric sources. The rating is based on objective indicators and does not use subjective surveys of respondents.
