From February 27 to March 1, 2025, the XXI International Conference ‘Education Development Trends: Educational Policy and Quality of Education’ took place, which was organised by the Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences with the participation of its partner – Moscow City University.
For many years the conference has been a platform for the exchange of ideas, experience and innovative approaches in the field of implementation and quality assessment of educational policy implemented at different levels of educational process management, in educational organisations of different levels.
On 27 February, Igor Remorenko, Rector of MCU, took part in the opening plenary round table ‘What has changed in educational policy over 30 years and what should we prepare for?’ and presented his report ‘What is the systemic behind the hype of artificial intelligence in education?’ at the plenary session of the conference.

More than 50 scientific and pedagogical staff of the university presented their reports at the conference, were the presenters of plenary sessions, moderators of sections and round tables. MCU students also presented their papers. You can read the conference programme at the link.
