MCU takes the 14th place among Russian universities

On January 18, Interfax International Information Group announced the ranking of Russian universities that implement programs on State and Municipal Administration.

Moscow City University has advanced five positions up and taken the 14th place. The success is determined by the hard work of the university’s teaching and management staff. The field of study has been consistently developing. MCU’s Institute of Law and Management implements State and Municipal Management bachelor’s degree program and Civil Service Management master’s degree program.

The ranking is formed by five indicators:

  • the number of academic programs;
  • the number of Scopus publications relating to Public Administration in 2018—2020;
  • the number of publications on State and Law in the journals of the Higher Attestation Committee list in 2018—2020;
  • the citation index of the articles relating to Social Sciences in the journals of the Higher Attestation Committee list in 2018—2020;
  • the share of graduates with cum laude diplomas.

The data is extracted from Scopus, Russian Science Citation Index, university websites, and university responses to queries.
