MCU Rector Igor Remorenko was elected as member of The Council for Science and Education of Russia by the presidential decree in April 2020. The new board of the Council includes rectors and presidents of Russia’s leading scientific organizations and state universities, such as The Russian Science Foundation and Lomonosov University.
The President’s Council for Science and Education of Russia is an advisory body established to inform President Putin on the current state of matters within the areas of science and education. The Council ensures collaboration of the Russian government with the research organizations and educational institutions and stakeholders.
