On October 19, the first general meeting of alumni of Moscow City University took place in the MCU building on Sadovaya-Samotechnaya. At the gala evening, alumni of different years who graduated from different MCU institutes met with the university leadership and discussed the establishment of the MCU Alumni Association.
Rector Igor Remorenko and President of MCU Viktor Ryabov opened the event with a presentation of the history and mission of the university. They also spoke about the goals of establishing an alumni community.
MCU Graduates, Anton Molev and Alexander Tverskoy, who are now deputy heads of the Department of Education and Science of Moscow, were the evening’s guests of honor.
The establishment of the MCU Alumni Association is the first step towards the transformation of the community, developing the career services for graduates, encouraging professional and thematic clubs, educational and volunteer programs, and much more.
The Association will bring together graduates of different years and provide a connection with the university and further support.
A new chapter in the history of MCU started from live music performed by the Oleg Lundstrem Jazz Orchestra, a buffet, and the atmosphere of a meeting of friends who have not seen each other for a long time.
MCU Alumni Association is officially open.
