On December 12, representatives from MCU met with delegates from Yichun University (China) to discuss potential avenues for collaboration between the two institutions.
The discussion highlighted shared interests in joint initiatives, particularly in the fields of music and artificial intelligence (AI).
Yichun University expressed a strong interest in establishing student and faculty exchange programs and sending its students to MCU for master’s and postgraduate studies. Although Yichun University currently lacks a Russian language department, it is keen on introducing courses and programs focused on Russian language and culture. This initiative aims to offer Yichun students high-quality education opportunities in Russia while enhancing their expertise in their chosen disciplines.
The meeting also delved into MCU’s ongoing AI research, with Yichun University showing enthusiasm for collaborative research projects. Such partnerships would foster the exchange of knowledge, experience, and innovative ideas between the institutions.
Both parties discussed the possibility of establishing collaboration through a cooperation agreement. This agreement would serve as a foundation for future educational and cultural exchanges, paving the way for joint projects that promise to deliver valuable opportunities and positive outcomes for students and faculty members at both universities.
