In 2024, the world celebrates important events – the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and China. In honor of these anniversaries, the Festival of Chinese Culture was held at VDNKh in the Green Theater.
The event gathered a large audience of Chinese culture lovers, diplomats, students, and representatives of cultural circles of both countries.
The host of the evening was Sofia Sudarikova, a student of the Institute of Foreign Languages of Moscow City University, studying Asian and African Studies. Sofia showed real professionalism, confidently leading the program throughout the evening. Her deep knowledge of Chinese culture and her ability to convey it to the audience allowed her not only to keep attention, but also to create an atmosphere of lively dialog between participants and guests of the festival.
The highlight of the evening was the performance of Inner Mongolia Arts Theater artists who presented traditional dances and music reflecting the identity of the Chinese people. Their colorful costumes, exquisite choreography and traditional melodies made the audience feel part of the Chinese heritage.
The festival became a symbol of the continuation of cultural and diplomatic relations between Russia and China, emphasising the importance of mutual understanding and cooperation.
