In the course of the visit of the delegation from University of Taipei at MCU, on October 30 Professor Su-I Liu presented a lecture on policy of teacher cultivation in Taiwan and strategies of teacher training at University of Taipei. Professor lectures at the Department of Exercise and Health Sciences of University of teacher cultivation in TaiwanTaipei and combines his teaching duties with the post of Director of the Center for Teacher Education & Career Development.
The students and guests of the Institute of Foreign Languages enjoyed Professor’s account of the current educational situation in Taiwan. Professor talked of existing tracks of a teacher’s career, state requirements to the teachers, and qualifications they have to pass to obtain a teacher’s certificate.
