The International Scientific Winter School “Sustainable Development of Foreign Language Education: Strategies, Informal Practices, Resources” was held on February 3-6 in Karaganda, organised by the Karaganda Buketov University (Kazakhstan) and partner universities: Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages (Uzbekistan), Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University (Russia), Tashkent State Pedagogical University (Russia).
MCU representatives were invited as speakers and presented current developments, making reports in the section “Approaches to Creating a Favorable Environment for Learning and Professional Development”:

Approximately 40 scientists and university educators from countries including Belarus, the UK, Georgia, Kazakhstan, China, Spain, Pakistan, Poland, the USA, Turkey, and Uzbekistan participated in the scientific school.
