On January 28, Alexey Zaslavsky, Candidate of Sciences (PhD) in Pedagogy and Associate Professor of the Department of Education Informatisation at the Institute of Digital Education, gave a workshop on artificial intelligence and the use of neural networks in school educational projects at the Moscow Centre for Quality Education.
Alexey Zaslavsky told high school pupils and teachers about the tasks that neural networks can solve. In addition, the speaker reviewed examples of neural networks usage in adaptive learning and noted their role in individualisation of the learning process, spoke about promising opportunities and global cases in this area of AI application.
The speaker paid special attention to the projects with the use of neural networks, implemented on the basis of Moscow City University, showing an example of how the chatbot ‘PhD Vygotsky’ actually works.
The audience was satisfied with the presentation, being actively involved in the discussion and asked questions after the event.
