Workshop by the Yunus Emre Institute at MCU

Representatives of the Yunus Emre Institute in Moscow, which focuses on showcasing Turkish culture, art, history, and language, met with students and held a workshops at MCU Institute of Humanities.

The participants of the meeting were welcomed by Viktor Kirillov, Director of the Institute of Humanities, and Mehmet Ulker, Director of the Yunus Emre Institute.

Professor Hadi Bak gave a lecture on Turkish traditions related to tea and coffee, and representatives of the Turkish Cultural Center in Moscow held a worksop on making tea and coffee according to Turkish traditions and treated everyone to sweets.

The meeting and the workshop took place within the framework of the educational and enlightenment course of Professor Hadi Bak on the basics of Turkish culture.

It should be also mentioned that Professor Hadi Bak from the Ataturk University (Erzurum, Turkey) is currently a faculty member in the Department of Methods of Teaching Social Studies and Humanities at MCU Institute of Humanities.
