On August 20, a meeting with representatives of the Binzhou Vocational College of Science and Technology took place at the Institute of Natural Sciences and Sports Technologies (INSST). MCU was presented by Vice-rector Evgeny Silyanov, INSST staff headed by Director Alexander Stradze, head of the International Relations Department Daria Milyaeva, head of the Department for Strategic Development Ashot Dzhanumov and assistant of the Chinese Language Department of the Institute of Foreign Languages Daria Korobko.
The Chinese delegation included Rector Liu Xiang, Director of the Department of International Cooperation Wang Yalin, and Director of the Institute of International Education Ning Ke.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the collaborative development of a joint educational programme “Physical Rehabilitation,” which will be implemented at INSST. Prior to this, MCU and Binzhou Vocational College of Science and Technology had already conducted an online meeting and started preparatory work to align educational plans and establish a close cooperation for the successful implementation of the programme.
At the meeting, the parties agreed to continue discussing new opportunities for students of the joint programme and further study at Moscow City University for applicants from China.
Binzhou Vocational College of Science and Technology is known for its academic reputation and innovative approach to education. The institution focuses onnurturing talents technical sciences and actively contributes to the realisation of national strategies and socio-economic development in Shandong Province. With six faculties, the college has a thriving community of over 14,000 international students.
During the visit, representatives from Binzhou Vocational College of Science and Technology expressed their interest in education in Russia and expressed a desire to further collaborate with MCU in the fields of economics and physical education. They invited representatives from the university to visit them in October, when the opening of the new campus of the institute will take place.
The delegation’s visit ended with a guided tour of the INSST building and the MCU Hotel located in the Izmailovo district.
