On October 25, MCU Rector Igor Remorenko and its President Viktor Ryabov met with the freshmen-winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren, of the Olympiads from the list of the Ministry of Education and Science, as well as those who showed excellent results in the entrance examinations of the 2019 Admissions campaign.
At a meeting, issues related to studying at the university, organization of student communities, design and extracurricular activities were discussed. Students showed interest in the MCU events, opportunities for financial support and scientific activities.
Viktor Ryabov spoke about the history of Moscow City University, which will celebrate its 25-year-anniversary in 2020.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Dmitry Agranat told students about the diversity of elective modules and their selection system.
Kirill Barannikov, Head of the Department for Strategic Development, contributed to the friendly and cooperative atmosphere of the meeting with his presentation of the City Platform Molo.Ko featuring the initiatives and start-ups of the young teams.
Sulaka Savva, Head of the Department for Corporate Events and Student Initiatives, introduced the freshmen to all the opportunities that MCU offers to the students within the framework of the Student Self-Government and extended education: volunteering, scientific communities, contests, festivals and various schools aimed at developing soft skills.
