MCU students will learn Chinese at National Quemoy University

National Quemoy University (NQU), China, has launched an online course on Chinese for students from Russia and Vietnam. The course will be given by native speakers, teaching in NQU, and start on October 25.

On October 22, NQU held an online opening ceremony with the representatives of universities participating in the program. MCU has become only Russia’s university joining the program. Daria Milyaeva, Head of the International Relations Department, Valentina Vashkyavichus, Interim Head of the Chinese Language Department, Professor Vladimir Kurdyumov, and Associate Professor Nadezhda Saltanova from the Chinese Language Department represented MCU and delivered welcoming speeches at the ceremony. They highlighted that online learning is an efficient tool in modern education and the development and adaptation of virtual learning infrastructure is a significantly important area of MCU activities.

80 MCU students will take the course and enhance their proficiency in Chinese.
