The MCU’s Japanese Language Department held an online Zoom meeting with Russian philology students of the Kyoto University of Foreign Languages on April 29.
The event was attended by freshmen and sophomore students from both universities as well as by Associate Professor Grigory Misochko and Senior Lecturer Alexandra Mozgunova.
It was aimed at creating a joint project when students cooperated to study a chosen topic. As a result, the participants delivered reports and made presentations.
During the first meeting, the students were divided into teams according to their interests. They got acquainted with each other and exchanged their contacts.
The final meeting took place on May 27, where the students presented their projects on the following topics: Holidays, Slang, Art, and Hanami.
