Department of Special Education and Comprehensive Rehabilitation

Some children suffering ICP or autism or perceptual disorder may also struggle with mental development disorder. Their teaching and education requires special training. The Department aims at instructing teachers for working with mentally-challenged children or with mentally-retarded kids. A teacher who has mastered the necessary skills, is able to assist special children with cognition of the world, to teach and develop them as well as to support families which bring up such kids. Graduates with the Bachelor’s degree can work not only at special training centers but also at the sphere of inclusive education. They have skills of working with both normally developing children and those who have health limitations.
