Moscow City University calls for international scientific organizations and research teams to join MCU scientists in Grant Competition 2020 for best basic research projects. The grant provides financial support to long-term international collaborations aimed at solving fundamental issues of modern science.
The Competition is arranged by The Russian Foundation for Basic Research in cooperation with foreign ministries and research organizations. Please contact the administrator of the competition in your country to learn more about the terms, conditions and application deadlines.

Terms and conditions
- Grant receiver: team of researchers.
- Number of participants: 2–10 people.
- Project duration: 1–3 years.
- Financial support: 13,000 – 80,000 USD per year.

Choose project field and come up with the project outline
Connect with a team of researchers within your institution who work on the issue. The Grant provides support to the projects in humanities, sciences, and well as crossdisciplinary fields.

Prepare the required documentation
Develop the framework of the joint project in collaboration with Russian partners. Fill in all the required documents in your local language and in English, including the abstract of the project, project schedule and draft budget.

The expert committee will announce the results of the Grant Competition in the Fall 2020.

- The necessity of joint international collaboration to achieve project outputs
