The Educational Center STEAM Park at the MCU’s Institute of Digital Education has replenished the facilities for the new academic year.
The cutting-edge equipment allows students, school children, and teaching staff to verify the relevance of physical laws, check their validity, and conduct scientific experiments in molecular physics, optics, electrical engineering, electronics, thermodynamics, and mechanics.
The equipment will enable students to measure the heat capacity of air by the resonant method, determine the heat of vapor formation. Besides, students will observe light diffraction and the spectrum of atoms of the inert gases as well as study the fundamentals of electronics with the construction of circuits using basic electrical components, among others.
The new equipment at the Center provides a scientific and methodological platform for research and teaching staff to enhance students’ training and arrange engaging events for school students.
