“Moscow Teacher” certificate awarding ceremony

In 2022, 49 graduates of the Moscow City University received the “Moscow Teacher” certificates.

Among the laureates are primary school teachers, school teachers of Russian, literature, history, social studies, foreign languages, geography, biology, music and etc., who will start working at Moscow’s schools in September.

Holders of the “Moscow Teacher” certificates will be supported by MCU’s experts in teaching methods during one year.

The awarding ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Education and Science of Moscow City Alexander Molotkov. He congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their professional activities. He also answered questions about the specifics of employment in Moscow’s schools.

MCU Rector Igor Remorenko spoke about the special aspects of teachers’ development within a teacher community and awarded the best graduates with the “Moscow Teacher” certificates.

The meeting was also attended by the directors of Moscow’s schools, who participated in the competencies’ assessment procedure as experts.

The new stage of the independent assessment of students’ competencies within the framework of the “Moscow Teacher Certificate” project will begin this fall.
