MCU Symposium Programme: Day 3

The final day of the VII Annual International Symposium “Education and the City: Designing Development” will be no less eventful. Here is what awaits the participants on the last day of the symposium on 20 April.

10:00-12:00 – Round table “Preschooler – researcher of the urban environment”. The moderator of the event will be Anastasia Rossinskaya, Leading Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Socio-Сultural Educational Practices of the Research Institute of Urban Studies and Global Education of MCU, and Ekaterina Asonova, Head of the Laboratory of Socio-Cultural Educational Practices of the Research Institute of Urban Studies and Global Education of MCU, will be the discussant. Preschool teachers Anna Soroka, Elena Artamonova, Elena Pervukhina, Dilya Gleb, Olga Komissarova will join the discussion.

10:00-12:30 – Mini-symposium “Family Education: Dialogue between Researchers and Practitioners”. The event will be moderated by Elena Petryaeva, Director of the Center for Analytical Research and Modeling in Education of the Research Institute of Urban Studies and Global Education of MCU, and Svetlana Mikhailova, Associate Professor of the Institute of Foreign Language of MCU. Presentations will be made by: Alina Dyakova, Anastasia Kolpakova, Vitaly Matveev, Elena Kirichenko, Elena Petryaeva, Irina Kozinchenko, Svetlana Mikhailova, Sofia Lyalikova.

10:00-13:00 – The Fourth Interregional Symposium of Practices “Action research”. The event will be led by Tatiana Le-van, Leading Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Child Development of the Research Institute of Urban Studies and Global Education of MCU. Joining the discussion will be: Sergey Plakhotnikov, Natalia Belyakova, Ulyana Yanecheva, Lyubov Veselova, Tatiana Evseeva, Elena Arepieva.

12:15-14:15 – Interactive debate “School as a city and city as a school”. The event will be conducted by Ekaterina Barsukova, Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Educational Infrastructures of the Research Institute of Urban Studies and Global Education of MCU. Students and teachers of the Master’s programme “Design of Urban Educational Infrastructures” will take part in the debate.

12:45-14:45 – Round table “Development of soft skills of adolescents and adults: the potential of museums”. The event will be held by Ivan Grinko and Anastasia Belolutskaya, Research Fellows at the Laboratory of Professional Compentence Assessment and Adult Development of the Research Institute of Urban Studies and Global Education of MCU. Joining the discussion will be: Vera Yarilina, Galiya Faizullina, Konstantin Andreev, Natalia Zhabina.
