Irina Petrova has won the first prize at the 4th International Piano Performance Contest “Magic of Stars”.
The contest aims at discovering and supporting talented youth, popularizing performing arts, and promoting arts training. The contest is held on April 3—20, 2021, in Saint Petersburg. The jury of the contest includes composers, piano performers, and teachers from Russia, CIS countries, as well as foreign countries.
Irina Petrova is enrolled in the Master’s degree program “Instrumental Performance: Theory and Practice” at the MCU’s Institute of Culture and Arts. Her teacher is Marina Antonova, Associate Professor at the Department of Music.
