MCU included in the Potanin Fellowship Program

In the 2018/2019 academic year, MCU for the first time was included in the Potanin Fellowship Program and in the ranking resulted at the 35th position among 75 Russian universities.  

The Fellowship Program is an initiative of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation that has been engaged in charity since 1999. The Program is aimed at creating a network of diverse, multi-disciplinary professionals by supporting educational institutions, students and staff in acquiring knowledge and skills necessary for successful operation in the modern society.

The Program Ranking is based on the analysis of the activity of master’s degree students and teachers in the scholarship and grant contests of Vladimir Potanin Fellowship Program. In the 2018/2019 academic year, there were 8500 applicants from 75 Russian universities, among them 19 students and 5 teachers of Moscow City University.

This year the Potanin Teacher’s Grant has been awarded to MCU’s Professor Elena Tareva, Director of the Institute of Foreign Languages. The Potanin Student Scholarship was awarded to 5 students of the Institute of Foreign Languages, the Institute of Psychology, Sociology and Social Relations, and the Directorate of Educational Programs.
