Forbes magazine published Russia’s top 100 universities ranking. Moscow City University took 53rd place.
The ranking evaluated 635 Russian universities that meet such criteria as availability of accreditation, rate of enrollment with at least 100 people and the availability of bachelor’s or specialist’s degree programs. Branches of universities, religious and military higher educational institutions, and universities teaching only postgraduate programs were not included in the ranking.
The universities were evaluated according to five aspects:
- Demand for graduates
- Quality of networking
- Quality of teaching
- International reputation
- The Forbes factor
