On March 10—12, Japanese Language Department at the MCU’s Institute of Foreign Languages held the 4th International Conference “Japanese Language in the Learning Environment”. The conference was supported by the Association of Teachers of Japanese in Russia and the CIS Countries and the Japanese Foundation.
Within the conference, 3 plenary lectures and 59 reports were given, as well as 3 masterclasses and 3 roundtable sessions were arranged. The participants of the conference discussed the modern studies of Japanese, as well as relevant questions and cultural studies aspects of teaching Japanese.
The conference welcomed 1,178 participants from 48 cities in Russia, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Kyrgyzstan.
The results of the conference will be published in a collection of articles.
