During the 6th MCU Open University WorldSkills Championships, Natalia Mukhina, Senior Lecturer at the MCU’s Institute of Foreign Languages, Chief Expert in the Distance Teaching of English skill, has arranged and held an Expert Skills competition.
8 experts from Russia’s universities participated in the competition. The participants completed the practical tasks of the competition that allowed them to comprehend the experience of WorldSkills participants. Then, the experts checked and assessed the tasks of previous years to train for the assessment of the current championships’ works.

Further, the experts participated in the screening of the knowledge of regulatory documents and the roundtable session, where they presented their views on innovative technology in teaching English and shared their ideas on developing the competency within the championships.
Expert Skills is the tournament for WorldSkills Russia experts, which is aimed at developing the expert community and WorldSkills Russia professional competencies through research and analysis of experts’ practical skills and theoretical expertise, as well as creating a platform for communication and experience exchange.
