MCU’s International Relations Department has participated in the Distance-Learning Pedagogical Education International Winter School. The School is held on January 11—15, by Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Kazakhstan, which is MCU’s international partner university. The School discusses the distance learning educational process, internal quality assurance, proctoring use for teachers’ training quality assurance, and digital tools in education.
On January 13, a session was held on distance learning in foreign countries. Marzhan Tagieva, Head of Abai University’s International Relations Department, moderated the session. About 100 guests from diverse countries, including Russia and Lithuania, took part in the session. The participants exchanged their experience in the distance learning organization, proctoring use, and discussed opportunities for distance learning academic mobility. Daria Milyaeva, Head of MCU’s International Relations Department, elaborated on MCU’s experience in distance learning transfer for students and teaching staff, what the process looked like, and which platforms have been made use of.
