From 14 to 19 February, a delegation from the University of Tsukuba headed by Mr. Yoshida Takeo visited Moscow City University. The delegation comprised teachers, MA and Ph.D students of the university.
The delegation’s visit was part of the large-scale comparative study of the activities of school principals in Europe and Asia, including Russia. The project is one of the activities within the framework of the scientific grant provided to a group of scientists by the Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
The aim of the study is to collect data on the development of the school management system in the light of educational reforms in many countries.
The University of Tsukuba representatives met with the students and teachers of Moscow City University and held meetings with the staff of the Japanese Language Department and the International Relations Department.
Colleagues discussed joint prospects for the development of international cooperation, possible participation of the University of Tsukuba representatives in the Third Annual International Symposium “Education and City: education and quality of living in the city”, which is scheduled on May 14-16, 2020, as well as cooperation in the field of preschool education.
