On January 16, an international round table titled “Features of Doing Business Online: A Unified Digital Agenda of the EAEU Countries and Its Application in Belarus” was held in Minsk, Belarus, dedicated to discussing the specifics of conducting business in an online format.

This event gathered representatives from various sectors and countries to exchange experiences and ideas. Participants represented different organizations and institutions. Employees of the embassies of EAEU member states actively participated in the round table, highlighting the importance of this event for diplomatic relations between the countries. Belarusian and foreign experts shared their experiences and knowledge in the field of online business, while representatives of government bodies expressed their interest in developing this area.

Specialists from the marketplaces OZON and Wildberries shared their experiences in online business and discussed the challenges and opportunities they see in this field. Young analysts—students and faculty from universities in Belarus and Russia—presented their research and ideas for the development of online business. Participants discussed how digital technologies can be used to develop business within countries, the problems and prospects in this area, and what measures need to be taken to create favorable conditions for the development of online business in all EAEU countries.

From the Moscow City Pedagogical University, two students from the Institute of Economics, Management, and Law participated in the round table.

Yuri Smirnov, a second-year master’s student in the field of “Lawyer in State and Municipal Authorities,” and Maxim Gololobov, a third-year bachelor’s student in the program “State and Municipal Management,” presented a report on “The Development of Yandex Services to Improve the Lives of Youth in the Megacity”. Their presentation sparked interest among the round table participants and facilitated the exchange of ideas and experiences between young researchers and more experienced professionals.
