Due to the amendment to the Russian Federal Law N 109-ФЗ ‘On migration registration of foreign citizens and persons without citizenship in Russian Federation’ dated July 18, 2006, starting from July 8, 2018, foreign citizens must be registered at the place of their actual residence at the territory of the Russian Federation. This means, that MCU can no longer register international students and teachers at the legal address of the university.
Therefore, we ask international students and teachers to contact their landlords (in case they rent an apartment) or the administration of the MCU hotel (in case they live in the hotel) to arrange for registration.
