From July 16 to July 30, 2018, MCU students majoring in French language visited France on language learning and cultural exchange purposes. Sitora Abdullaeva, Yulia Ilyina and Daria Mamonova participated in the trip arranged by Oksana Dubnyakova, Associate Professor at the MCU Romance Philology Department.
The students improved their French language skills by attending Lyon Bleu International language school in Lyon and obtained certificates confirming their studies in a C1 proficiency level group.
The students also had an opportunity to visit the Corpus Linguistics laboratory headed by A. Lavrentyev, Doctor of Linguistics and Senior Researcher at the laboratories IHRIM (Institut d’Histoire des Représentations et des Idées dans les Modernités) and ENS de Lyon (Ecole Normale de Lyon).
