On April 9, Elizaveta Proselkova, Founder of the career consulting company EP Advisory, spoke at HSE on study and career opportunities for Russian-speakers in the UK.
MCU English-learning students were also invited at the lecture.
Elizaveta dispelled myths about inaccessibility of receiving education or finding employment in England. She shared her own experience of studying at University of Greenwich, proving that there is nothing impossible if you try hard enough.
Elizaveta talked about different types of scholarships that can fully or partially cover tuition fees and living costs; and work visas that enable UK or non-UK based Russian-speakers pursue a successful career in England.
She advised that students should start gaining work experience as early as possible and invest time and thought in their Linkedin accounts.
