The MCU Institute of Foreign Languages announces the International Scientific Coference ‘Language and Literary Studies and Language Education: Contemporary Issues and Solutions’. The Conference is arranged on the occasion of the seventieth anniversary of Professor Olga Afanasiyeva, Doctor of Philology, renowned Russian linguist, researcher and educator.
Professor Olga Afanasiyeva is the author of many English language textbooks serving students at schools, colleges and universities all around Russia. Her professional life Professor dedicated to educating English language teachers, first at Moscow State Pedagogical University and since 1995 at Moscow City University, where currently she is staff member of the English Philology Department.
