Jun Yue on travelling around the world on a humanitarian mission

Jun Yue will share his stories and reflections from traveling around the world in 104 days, visiting 20 countries across six continents as a Communication Coordinator (volunteer interpreter) with Peace Boat, a Japan-based international NGO promoting peace, human rights, and sustainability worldwide. This lecture will cover these aspects:

  • The history and development of Peace Boat as well as its various advocacy programs;
  • How to get the opportunities volunteering for Peace Boat and traveling around the world while making your contribution to make it a better place;
  • What he’s learned, re-learned, and un-learned throughout the global voyage.
