Department of Romance Philology at the MCU’s Institute of Foreign Languages and Institut Francais de Russie invite students who learn French to participate in the French Creative Contest. The Contest is dedicated to International French Teachers’ Day on November 25.
The task of the Contest is to create one of the following compositions:
- An acrostic (a poem in which the initial letters of the lines form a word or phrase) and attach an image to reflect the mood of the acrostic. The topic of the acrostic is Être optimiste est un combat (Being an optimist is combat). It is a quote by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, a French and Belgian writer and playwright, who is the curator of the celebration;
- A letter of appreciation to a French teacher.
Please note that you should sign a composition with an anagram of your name.
The Contest provides you an opportunity to thank all the French teachers.
Please submit your composition before November 20.
The winners of the Contest will be determined by voting on the VK page of the Department of Romance Philology and the choice of the competent jury.
The results will be announced on the VK page.
The winners and participants will receive diplomas and memorable gifts.
