The Office provides the following services:
- Processing scholars’ documents and providing the information and analytical services;
- Issuing orders for postdoctoral researchers and degree seekers;
- Assessment of postdoctoral researchers and degree seekers;
- Preparing documentation for establishing new postdoctoral fields of research;
- Coordinating work with dissertation boards;
- Providing procedural assistance for Chairs and Academic Secretaries of dissertation boards;
- Design of methodological guidelines for postdoctoral researchers on preparing documents for postdoctoral thesis defence, and attestation records for degree conferral;
- Development of the dissertation boards database;
- Collecting statistics and preparing reporting documents on the postdoctoral research at MCU;
- Control of timely issuing and delivery of annual reports on dissertation boards;
- Development of the thesis abstracts database;
- Supporting postdoctoral researchers in distributing thesis abstracts and official letters required for postdoctoral defence;
- Publishing defence-related information on the MCU’s website;
- Collecting Postdoctoral and Ph.D. diplomas from The State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles;
- Processing scholars’ personal data.
