Andrey V. Koptelov, Director of the Center for International Education, Associate Professor, School of Teaching and Learning College of Education Sam Houston State University will give a presentation “Developing Technology Based Projects for Teaching and Learning a Foreign Language”, co-authored with Ana Marcela Montenegro Sanchez, within the 2nd Annual International Symposium “Education and City: Participation Practices”, to be held from 16 to 18 May 2019.
In his report, Andrey Koptelov will focus on the advantages that the use of modern technologies in teaching gives to teachers, will give examples of educational projects that will serve as an excellent opportunity for students to improve their knowledge of a foreign language and master programming skills.
Andrey is the author of scientific and pedagogical projects awarded by the National Science Foundation of the USA. He created more than 70 works published in Russia and the United States, including teaching tutorials and scientific and pedagogical works on using the information technology, educational computer games, mobile devices and interactive applications in the educational process.
