The Institute of Law and Management and the International Relations Department invite students and the teaching staff to take part in a webinar with Prof. Jan De Groof, president of the European Association for Education Law and Policy (ELA), UNESCO Chair for the Right to Education and former UNESCO Chargé de Mission, and Honorary Government Commissioner for Universities in Belgium (Flemish Community).
Professor De Groof will give a keynote lecture ‘Peculiarities of Legal Regulation during Emergency’ which concerns the questions of legislation at the COVID-19 pandemic.
Professor De Groof has already visited MCU when gave a speech at the 2018 Research and Practice Conference dedicated to parental rights and homeschooling.
De Groof is professor at the College of Europe in Bruges, at Tilburg University in the Netherlands, at the National Research University – Higher School of Economics in Moscow, and extraordinary professor at the Edu-HRight Research Unit, North West University in Potchefstroom, South Africa.
At the webinar, the participants will have a chance to discuss topical issues of policy and law with the world’s leading expert.
