The International Baccalaureate (IB) Provider Center of Moscow City University provides qualified professional development and educational consultancy services, methodological support to educational institutions with close links to IB. Workshops are held in cooperation with the IB. All participants are awarded with IB certificates after course completion.
The workshop is recommended for school leaders, Middle Years Programme (MYP) coordinators and lead teachers in subject groups who want to deepen their understanding of the MYP assessment model. Participants will explore the targets of MYP assessment strategies in their subject areas and apply their knowledge of the holistic MYP framework for teaching and learning to build successful assessment practices using their subject-specific objectives and assessment criteria. Participants will gain hands-on experience with the development of concept-driven assessments and consider new models of optional external assessment for the MYP.
