The Library of Foreign Literature will host a workshop Red Thread by Anastasia Kazantseva, a teacher of the Chinese Language Department.
In the first part of the master class the listeners will be offered to get acquainted with the romantic legend about the origin of the red thread, to learn about the symbolism of bracelets: on which hand to wear, how to tie it correctly, what the red colour means, etc.; in the second part of the lecture there will be a master class where each participant will create one or more bracelets from red thread with Chinese symbols.
