First-year students of the Physical Education programme — Melaniya Goncharenko, Kira Karpuk, and Sofya Krakhmaleva — as well as Adriana Chilikina, a student of the Sports programme at the Institute of Secondary Vocational Education named after K.D. Ushinsky, and Alena Pugacheva, a student of the MCU Pre-University Centre, took part in the First International Softball Tournament held in China.
The students demonstrated excellent physical fitness, strong tactical thinking, and outstanding team spirit. They made a significant contribution to the overall success of the Moscow city team, proving themselves to be true professionals in their field.
Participation in this international competition provided the athletes with invaluable experience at the global level, contributed to the enhancement of their professional skills, and helped strengthen ties with fellow athletes from different countries.
The First International Softball Tournament represents an important milestone in the development of the sport. The event promotes the popularisation of softball, attracts new athletes, and increases public interest in this discipline.
