Dialogue of Cultures. Culture of Dialogue: Digital Communications

On March 29—April 2, 2022, MCU’s Institute of Foreign Languages invites scholars, lecturers, and researchers to participate in the 3rd International Research and Practice Conference “Dialogue of Cultures. Culture of Dialogue: Digital Communications” (DCCD’22).

The Conference aims to update the findings of interdisciplinary research (linguistics, literary studies, translation studies, philosophy, linguistic didactics, psychology, education, cultural studies, political studies, social studies, legal studies, information science, among others) on the issues  linked with modern digital communication, the dialogue of cultures, the culture of dialogue from the perspective of a contemporary scientific paradigm in the context of digitalization and mediatization of communication culture and social practices.

The Conference will include the thematic sessions on:

  • Fundamentals of dialogue in the digital world;
  • Digital communication practice in the dialogue of cultures framework;
  • Theory and practice of teaching the dialogue of cultures and the culture of dialogue in the digital environment;
  • Development of virtual communication in the context of digitalized society.

The proceedings of the Conference will be published in two collections of articles: Lingua Multica, a new open-access online journal to be launched in 2022 by Moscow City University and a special issue of the ARPHA Proceedings series indexed in Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI, WoS).

The Conference will be held online.
