Alexander Grinshkun, the Head of the Department of Education Informatisation, Candidate of Sciences in Pedagogy, and Associate Professor of the Russian Academy of Education, was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Moscow Department of Education and Science for his significant contribution to the training of highly qualified personnel for the city’s educational organisations.
The presentation of the honorary certificate recognized the scientist’s many years of work in developing the digital transformation of education and training specialists proficient in modern information technologies.
Alexander Grinshkun’s scientific interests are focused on developing content and methods for training specialists in the use of digital and immersive technologies in education, as well as implementing new forms of learning based on virtual and augmented reality. He is the author of the school textbook “Technology. 3D Modeling, Prototyping, and Mock-ups. Grade 9”, which is included in the Federal List of textbooks approved for use in state-accredited educational programmes of primary, basic, and secondary general education provided by educational institutions.
The honorary certificate from the Moscow Department of Education and Science is a natural continuation of Alexander Grinshkun’s professional achievements and significant contribution to the development of education in the capital, promoting the improvement of teacher training quality and the development of a modern digital educational environment.
