The cooperation between Rostelecom and MCU involves the development of innovative intelligent systems for education. It will include implementation of AI systems for personalisation of the educational process, creation of tools for analysis of large volumes of data in the field of pedagogy and psychology, as well as research into the possibilities of AI tools for improving the efficiency of educational institutions.
Igor Remorenko, Rector of MCU:
Cooperation between educational organizations and leading technology companies, such as Rostelecom, will bring the educational process to a new level of digitalisation. Joint realisation of projects on development and implementation of services based on artificial intelligence will undoubtedly expand the opportunities of both parties, opening access to the resources that the partners are rich in. For students, this cooperation will open up an excellent opportunity to become the first users of joint developments by MCU and Rostelecom, as well as to gain new knowledge from experts of a major Russian IT company.
Darii Khalitov, Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board, Rostelecom:
Dense integration of educational institutions and strong IT market players is a fundamental element for the development of the high-tech sphere and improvement of the educational process. Cooperation with MCU will give Rostelecom an additional impetus for the promotion of AI-direction, and for the students of the university it will open access to the most relevant IT tools and experience of the leading experts of our company. I am convinced that through partnership we will be able to bring the digital transformation of the education sector to a new level.
The agreement was signed as part of the implementation of the Priority-2030 programme at MCU. It will combine the resources of a leading IT player and a systemically important university. The results of joint developments will contribute to improving the quality of education and training qualified personnel in the field of pedagogy and information technologies.
