14 Master’s students from Moscow City University have been named winners of the 2025/2026 scholarship competition organised by the Potanin Foundation. From February 2026 until the end of their studies, the students will receive a monthly Vladimir Potanin Scholarship of 30,000 rubles.
The students successfully completed two stages of the competitive selection process, demonstrating strong academic performance, leadership qualities, and a commitment to contributing to the development of education and society. Throughout the competition — from expert evaluation of academic and motivational essays to participation in an interactive case-based game — future teachers, psychologists, and administrators showcased not only deep professional knowledge but also teamwork skills, critical thinking, and the ability to propose innovative solutions to pressing social challenges.
Winning this prestigious nationwide competition confirms that Master’s students of Moscow City University meet the highest standards of educational excellence set out in the university’s development strategy. Each winner is not only a successful student but also an active participant in student life, a researcher, a volunteer, and an aspiring mentor.
