As part of the development and popularization of immersive technologies in education, experts from the Institute of Digital Education of Moscow City University are participating in the organization of the hackathon “Digital Worlds: VR Creators” hosted by VR Concept.
The hackathon will take place from February 17 to April 11, 2025.
This is a unique opportunity for school and university students to immerse themselves in the exciting world of 3D graphics, game development, VR, as well as to demonstrate their creative abilities by creating innovative projects.
Participants will be able to choose one of three tracks:
- 3D Modeling;
- Programming;
- Engineering Track.
The hackathon is open to schoolchildren aged 14 and older, university and college students.
Teams will consist of 2 to 4 participants.
Stages of the Hackathon:
- Applications acceptance: until February 25, 2025. To apply, team captains must fill in the form on the website: vrconcept.net.
- Stage 1 (Training and Idea Generation in Online Format): February 17 — March 2.
- Stage 2 (Project Development): March 4 — April 1.
- Final: April 11, 2025. The final event will include a quiz, presentations of the best projects, and the award ceremony.
All participants of the first and second stages will receive certificates, while the finalists will be awarded diplomas. The winners of Hackathon will receive valuable prizes.
